I made this video based on Ren and Stimpy- see the intro card and slight grossness- and old Hanna Barbera cartoons. These characters dont have to do as much and so are alot simpler than Ren/ Stimpy but i like them- the animation was simplified due to time contraints- i think it took about 6 weeks: little bit of research, characters, storyboard/story, animation- compositing, adding sound effect. Research was aided by JohnK's blog check it out for a great running history of animation. The band just wanted a crazy idea for the video so i had a little think and this popped up. The guitar sounded a bit like it was being played in the wilderness... i tried to fit a few things around the lyrics and the idea of having the guy use the roadkill to make music for him came up and developed...i like the penguin... check out the Buzzdees website...

ARD : Feierabend

I only did a little bit on this and it got changed later anyway, I made number 3 and 4. very simple looking but the hands on the card turn were tricky.

Goldener Windbeutel 2012

So this was the first windbeutel award that we did. The previous years animation wasnt great and was a bit lifeless. I had just one section to do- number 5, the baby cup is cute, the pram ok, the coke has lovely splashes as the sugar cubes fall in. Other wise i just learnt to key out colour from the hand sections...

I only did a little here. I made the guy speak when he had his feet on the desk and i did the bit with the telephone and the cars, very quick and simple.

This was a single scene but it took a little time. I animated the shaman scene. First i looped a dancing indian guy, then added the shaman and then our presenter guy doing a cute little dance. Nice whoops and claps when he is dancing and accidentally great face as he gets dragged off screen.

Hi... finally sorted out my website- you might have got here from there- i clunked together a basic html/css layout with 2 different javascript galleries- i think it looks nice and simple...have a look at amyfotos as well...i made it with another javascript gallery

There is a Gulf

So this was a video I created for Good Frames. Frank let me do anything i liked so i wanted to include these things: The sea, A cute rabbit and duck, rain, and a monster who exacts revenge, all wrapped up in a cyclical narrative that hit the 3 peaks of the song. After a few little tests it came out like this...nice waves...(there are several versions online- this is for my vimeo channel- Frank has it on his channel also and on Youtube).
